Before posting an ad, take some time to read the rules in the
Submit Ad section. Ads will have a city name/abbreviation in parenthesis. Please
note that I am unable to post pictures at this time, but will rectify this in the near future.
New ads are placed regularly, so make sure to visit often.
We all have our favorite Cichlid and that may change with a new favorite. Keeping, breeding, trading, buying or selling is part of enjoying this wonderful
species of fish. Thus my reason for this site is to help the hobbyist to find the many possibilities available to them.
| New Section Added
"Other Cichlids" section has been added to the site to cover those species of cichlids not from the Rift Lakes.
Hope this section will assist all "Cichlid Enthusiasts" in furthering their hobby.

ACA Over and Now Local Events
Unfornunately I was not able to make the ACA this year but the reports coming in from my friends and members
of the HCCC is that I missed a good time. But that is my loss, on the other hand, some good fish came back
closer to home.
Some of these "good buys" from the ACA might show up at local stores and fish clubs. You might keep an eye
out for them.
One local auction held by the HCCC will be held in September. I hear there will be some nice fish availabe.
I also heard from a local fish breeder of Victorian species that he may bring some nice Vics.
Here is info for one in the San Antonio area sponsored by the Hill Country Cichlid Club:
Fall Cichlid Day Auction: //
Date: Sunday, September 14th //
Time: Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Auction begins at 12:00 p.m. //
Location: Springhill Suites by Marriott //
3636 NW Loop 410 //
San Antonio, TX
Just a reminder that you should look into joining a fish club close to you. Lots of information
to be found and a lot of nice people to meet. Not only that but members can get great deals on fish,
equipment and food sold by members.
There are some new ads on "Trophs" and "reduced" prises on others, so check them out.
